I know it took me a while to write and post this but here it goes.

I know I really wanted to do it when I read about it online, but the price was just not in my range.  I noticed the price drop. I was in contact with them, and they were able to work with me.  I got a really good deal.

I purchased the package with a friend a few days before the show. I was ecstatic.  I knew this was a once in a lifetime experience.  We live in St Louis so we came up the night before the concert, and we got off the train, got some food, then went directly to the GA line at the United Center and met some other fans.  We had friends doing GA so that's why we were there.

The next morning we did get some sleep for a few hours in the hotel, then got up and got ready and went back to go hang out in the GA line with our friends.  Our check in time was around 4:30 - 5.  It started to rain a little bit as soon as our host came to get us from the Box Office.  We were walking the lobby halls of the arena and it was finally sinking in what was happening.

We were lead into a room with black curtains covering the walls. There were couches, and tables set up with bottles of wine and snacks and fruit.  I had a glass of wine. We all mingled for a bit, and Cynthia walks in. She introduced herself to everyone.  She saw that we were dressed up so she was asking about us, what we do, and what our passion's are.  It was really cool.

Sonja came in, she was our host for the evening, and went over rules and things to follow during the backstage tour.  She was really nice. We started the tour and walked out of the room and down the hall. We were backstage so fast. We saw dressing room signs for Bobby, Gaga, and we walked into the actual arena behind the stage. We saw racks of dancer's costumes and the swine masks and I asked if I could hold one.

We walked up the stairs onto the stage and it was so surreal.  One of the Haus members brought out the Gypsy skirt designed by Versace, it weighs 45 POUNDS. We each held it. We walked into a quick change room and there were Gaga's black heels along with the ARTPOP outfit.  We also saw the Paparazzi headpiece, and we touched that.  We walked around the curtain onto the main stage. I stood right on the stage lift where Gaga comes up and looked out. I had goosebumps. We were allowed to walk the runways, which was the coolest thing. We walked all the way to her piano, and I touched her stool. It was such an incredible feeling. I felt like dancing on one of the runways.

We were lead down the stairs between the barricade and the stage where here piano was.  We went into the quick change room underneath her piano, and her seashell bra was hanging up. There was a chair and a fan blowing directly on it. We were told how she comes down and is completely stripped while sitting in the chair and dressed and sent right back up the lift. It's such a small space.

We walked back out onto the main floor, and at this time the LMZ were being escorted into the arena.  We went backstage, and were led into a wardrobe area, where we saw Lady Starlight. We said Hello!  We were shown a few costumes that we haven't seen before, and we saw people at a table sketching outfits.  We were told this room has to stay organized incase anything happens to an outfit, they can fix it fast.

We were led back out and we stopped at Gaga's dressing room. HER DRESSING ROOM.  Sonja said, "This is something we haven't done before but Gaga isn't here yet, so we will let you do a quick run through of her dressing room." We couldn't believe it. We walked in, and it hit me. I started to tear up and Cynthia saw me and put her arm around me and said, "It's okay."  Something that is so personal that we got to see made me emotional.  We saw a little play pin set up for Asia.  We saw the big couch/bed thing with a lot of pillows, and Fozzi was on it barking on us, hahaha.  Around the corner, we saw Tara, and she greeted us with, "Oh, I wasn't expecting company."  We said hello, and she was talking about working with Gaga, she is the cutest thing. We saw wigs in this room, which I think one of them was the Italian curls wig.

Along the way, we saw DJWS somewhere in the hallway backstage.  We were led back into the main room with the couches, and we were told Gaga would be here shortly and went over some guidelines how the m&g was going to work.  Sonja asked if we had any questions. Someone asked her what her Best/Worst experiences were working with gaga.  I think she said Mexico City, not sure exactly, when there were a ton of people at this outside concert, and the weather was terrible. It was pouring. They didn't want to raise the big screens up because of the wind, but she said Gaga said, "Do it!"  And not one person left. the dancers were soaked, the fans were soaked, and she said it was emotional seeing everyone stay there for the music. So many fans.

She said the worst experience was the Montreal Born This Way Ball. It was hard to hear, and I don't really remember exactly what she said, but Gaga was in pain. I hate hearing about it. It makes me feel terrible.

Before we knew it, Asia came running into the room. Everyone shouted, "ASIA!!!"  And she ran back out, hahah.  She came back in with Peter, and shortly behind him was Gaga! I couldn't believe it. After all these years, She was standing in the same small room as I! There were only about 15 or so of us and she went through the room and introduced herself to each and everyone of us, then sat in a chair.

She looked so good! She asked if we had any questions, and at the point I was sitting on the floor because I was trying to see if Asia would come over to me, so I probably looked silly.

I told her at the St. Louis Born This Way Ball, she wore my 'Bad Kid Jon Jacket' and wore it offstage and didn't give it back. Which is totally fine, because she wore it. But it had my camera in the pocket, so I was just telling her to see what she would say, because it is a funny story to tell. As soon as I said, "and my camera was in the pocket", everyone laughed. She made a funny joke like wanting my camera back. It was funny.  She read someone's letter out loud which was really sweet. I told her we saw the show in Cleveland and it's perfect and that she wore my SWINE vest during Swine during that concert and got up and showed her the pic on my phone.  She said she remembered that and hugged me.  She talked about the show a little bit, and how there's always tears and laughter. It really is surreal hearing her talk in person.

We did pictures after that, and I got my picture, and then asked her if we could do a Swine picture, and she said yes. I had her sign the Born This Way page of the Terry Richardson book, my ARTPOP album cover, and the photo of her wearing my jacket.  I hugged her again and said I've been waiting for this moment for a long time.  Gaga had to go ge ready for the show, and me and my friend were led inside the arena.  We got inside a little bit before Crayon Pop hit the stage. Needles to say, I had the time of my life, and it was so cool seeing how a big production runs, and seeing a lot of backstage things people don't normally get to see! SO WORTH IT. PAWS UP!!!
