Put all the charts beside, do you think Prism is better than ARTPOP?

I think it is

 

PRISM is a mix of fun songs, mixed with emotional ballads.

 

ARTPOP is randomly spread out, we have Loud songs, a ballad, calm songs, etc.

 

 

What do you think?

The only two songs I like on PRISM are Dark Horse and LL... And that is honestly it, I think the rest is just crap (sorry but for me, it is)...

Prism is a GREAT album but ARTPOP is much better because I love enery song on ARTPOP. I only like 9 or 12 songs on Prism & its still a great album but ARTPOP is better

I haven't listened to all of Prism but from what I've heard I definitely prefer ARTPOP. To each their own.

PRISM is filled with fillers (international smile, double rainbow, choose your battles)

Annoying songs (roar, WOA)

Only good songs are Dark Horse and Ghost.

 

Most of ARTPOP are not single worthy, but they don't sound filler-ish

Heck, MJH already slays most of PRISM songs

There are some songs i really love on Prism like Dark Horse and Legendery Lovers, amazing songs. But there are much more i love on ARTPOP, so i would say No.

 

In whole i would say both are disappointing in each way...

Prism is better commercially. And in terms of pop. BUT absolutely no evolution in Katy' style. I'm pretty sure it's going to be hard for her to return after this album if she doesn't evolve.

She said this album would be darker, she lied...

 

ARTPOP is good in term of EDM and for party. A good album for Monsters, definitely. But I'm not surprised it did not convince the GP and critics in general.

 

In brief : 2 very different albums, that's hard to compare...
