teo 609
Didn't know Taylor was Irish... :toofloppy: Kinney, I mean like, I should have guessed, but I'm a flop so. Anyway, that just makes him hotter. PS happy St. Patricks day to everyone celebrating!
nath4gaga 1,274
There are more people of Irish descent in the U.S. than there are in Ireland, by far. Wikipedia says it's 11.9% of the population (though of course those aren't all purely Irish). I'm one BTW. How people know that there Irish when that was generations ago i've no idea, it wouldn't surprise me if people were more like 1/32 Irish. Everyone just claims they are cos it sounds exotic xP
Nemo 3,968
It wasn't that many generations ago. Some of my grandparents were immigrants. But also, the traditions and the identity were just passed on from parent to child. In many cases, ethnic groups formed their own communities within the larger community. My father, for example, though he was born in the U.S., was practically obsessed with all things Irish. I don't identify with it nearly as much.
