Nice jump for Do What U Want, wasn't expecting that at all. I do expect Applause to fall out of the top 10 next week though, just because One Direction will debut those two promo singles pretty high. It's had a beautiful run though in the states and has gained her radio support again so I'm pleased with its success.

Thanks to radio support, Applause is enjoying this longevity in the HOT 100 chart. In fact, it's currently outselling DWUW on iTunes, further showing its grasp to stay as a hit. And it seems it's not only limited to Applause since its fellow August 2013 releases such as Roar and Wrecking Ball are also showing quite a fight to stay on the upper half of the charts.
