The Official Charts Company has revealed where Lady Gaga's current "chart ineligible" tracks would place.

The singer released 'Do What U Want' and 'Venus' from her new album ARTPOP in the UK over the past week, but both tracks are unable to chart in the UK due to instant grat track rules.

As the songs have been released by Gaga's UK label as part of an ARTPOP promotion, their sales and downloads will not count towards the final chart.

However, The Official Charts Company has announced that 'Venus' would have landed at number six on today's midweek chart update (October 30), while 'Do What U Want' would have charted at 10 on Sunday's final list (October 27), if they had been included.

'Applause' was issued in the UK as the primary instant grat track that would be eligible to chart, meaning any subsequent releases before ARTPOP will not be counted.

Once ARTPOP is officially released in the UK on November 11, all tracks from the collection will be eligible to chart individually.

And guys please do not blame Interscope :wtf: they HAVE to direct connect it to the album so they PROMOTE THE ALBUM, you know, the reason they are called PROMO singles

We should just claim those chart positions anyway

Venus and DWUW should be charting so that's a good enough reason

Slay, gaga

It's nice of the charts company to still reveal her position even when she's ineligible. Besides who cares about position as long as she's getting those sales?

Nothing we can do about it. It's a stupid rule, we all know that
