Since she's said they've had the single chosen for a long time right? And Gaga first tweeted those Tea lyrics back in October... "oh, and the cover story written by jonathan van meter , is the TEA." Why would she work so hard on this new music for it to be about something negative such as the Madonna controversy? I want new, fresh, positive music tbh. :) I definitely see what you mean! :) But I think if Gaga feels strongly about it, it should be included in the album. By the time Madonna's comments occurred, she was already writing ARTPOP. Like she said, ARTPOP is personal, and Gaga revealed on LM that the BTW/EY controversy was a horrible time in her career as one of her most important singles was ridiculed.
