Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Discussion

Just saw Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and I am happy with it. I like the storyline of it all, and there was a lot of action and intense moments. I think my only complaint is that there were so many coincidental moments which made the movie feel not as realistic.

I watched it 3 weeks ago, I thought it was better. The trailers don't do it justice.

Weird ending though now I think of it. With all those dinos run loose to the city.

Will they go with that story or will they retcon it for the 3rd ones? We will see.

saw it weeks ago  the U.S. took its time premiering 

disappointing

a mess

all over the place

but I'll still go watch Jurassic World 3 

The marketing completely ruined it, they literally showed everything in the final trailer. It's disappointing when you thought there's more but the trailer is literally the movie.

It's a giant filler that only wants an open-ended ending to pave the way to the third movie.

 

Ok got all the negatives out of the way let's talk the positives 

It's the scariest Jurassic movie! They got the tone right this time, I want a scary film. (tho some jump scare is too cheap )

So many freaking dinosaurs! (they kept promoting this part coz it's the only thing worth promoting anyway ) This time with actual great animatronics and special effects!

I saw it twice and it was... okay both times. Entertaining for what it is but it's really substance-less.

The storyline from the very beginning was already a disaster but somehow they turned a hopeless plot into something interesting, I bet the next trilogy will be In the style of Planet of the apes

I liked the departure from the typical Jurassic films we have gotten in the past. 

I was literally crying when the dinosaurs were dying from the volcano and or drowning, especially the last scene on the ship. 

They definitely played up the horror aspects of this scenario this time around, which was nice for me, a horror fan. 

I'm excited for the next installment, which hopefully ends the series. 

But, why has the 2nd Island been forgotten about?

I just came back, DISAPPOINTING!

The movie was all over the place, the plot was hmm no plot?

Like the Indoraptor was for like 20 minutes? and we all knew what was it's destiny.. and the way it was released was dumb.. like idk, it had no real purpose... no enjoyment of this dino, nothing..

And with all the respect to Blue, the real heroine will always be Ms. Rex, she had like 5 minutes screen time.

I must say that the CGI was amazing, the details of the dinos were over the top, I was amazed.

So for me this movie gets 3/10...
