This song is one of my faves on Witness, the production goes hard tbh - the production is the highlight of the record. Her syntax though omg It kills me knowing that some of the awkward made it through on this album, more than on her past albums, but that there was even more before. Her lyrics seem almost too literal, to the point of not being very musical sounding if that makes sense.
