In my opinion it has to be Lauryn hill because her lyrics, breath control, vocals and writing are flawless and she's basically kept a thriving twenty year cereer off of one album which in itself is an achievement. My least favourite is missy Eliot #sorrynotsorry I just find her music annoying and her lyrics so watered down. It's like while latifah is rapping about hardships and stabbings and Lauryn hill is rapping about love, young pregnancy and religion missy is rapping about sex and werking it I just never connect.
