Eurovision Asia Song Contest 2019 on the Gold Coast, Australia

An Asia-Pacific version of Eurovision Song Contest is something that has been talked about for years and this year it’s finally happening (hopefully).

The first edition will take place on the Gold Coast in Australia December 7th, at the Gold Coast Convention Centre.

Asiavision would make sense. However, Eurovision is a television network part of the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) and they own the concept so that's why Eurovision is included in the name

This project keeps getting postponed

Now EASC is scheduled for November 30th - December 7th 2019 and confirmed venue is the Gold Coast Convention Centre at the Gold Coast in Australia.

Currently there are 17 interested countries.
