a portion of trans women actually have issues with drag queens, because they believe that dressing up in drag is mocking trans women. Not that they think drag queens are intentionally trying to make a mockery out of trans women, but one can realize how a trans woman could find issue with this. In a way it's like dressing up as a Mexican for Halloween. Mexicans aren't a costume. It's an interesting concept. The point is, this man may really be offending trans women and not drag queens. I'm not arguing one way or other, just adding to what you're saying (which i agree with).
