She is a huge star that's deeply connected with the franchise, she's probably informed about the details regarding remakes. If she said the film was meant to include rap/hip-hop elements, it's probably because that was the case. I mean, she's rich, is not like she'll lose her job, or will be homeless if the movie doesn't do good, comercially wise. It seems like an extremely vainilla, dull, boring premise to me, and I think it will be a borefest. Do I want the movie to flop? no Do I resent GaGa taking part in the project? no Am I spewing hate about the movie 24/7 on social media? no I'm glad GaGa took the opportunity to try her dream and star in a movie of this kind, and I hope it succeeds.
