Bebe 16,562 Posted January 6, 2018 Share Posted January 6, 2018 I like her phrasing in Chasing Pavements, how she sings: "This aint lust, I know this is love, but" Like: "This aint lust, Iiiii knoow this iii luuuuuu buh" It's as if it's concrete that it isn't lust which is this easily understood and clear concept, but she sings the second half as if her words are floating and carefree - is less cut and dry and more ethereal and hard to grasp.
