First of all, Bruno is a black artist so he's not appropriating anything (Or at least he's been singing what we would consider "black" music (R&B/funk music) for a long time. And has been very respectful about it, so it's not cultural appropriation)

Second of all, these SJW from twitter have to go :grr:

I’m pretty sure Bruno is actually Latino/Filipino but yeah people are overreacting.

According to wikipedia he's everything :laughga:

His father is of half Puerto Rican and half Ashkenazi Jewish descent (from Ukraine and Hungary), and is originally from Brooklyn, New York. His mother emigrated from the Philippines to Hawaii as a child, and was of Filipino, and some Spanish, ancestry.

But yeah, I thought the video was more of a nod to 80s/90s culture than apropriating african-american culture

Can y’all saying he’s black tell me which part of him is black? The Puerto Rican dad side or the Filipino mom side? :oprah:

The fact that it’s based on a tv show and everyone wore similar clothes during those times I wanna say it’s not appropriation? But hu knows
