1. He’s won a Grammy

2. He’s bald

3. He wears dark rimmed glasses

4.  He lived in Tennessee 5 years ago

5. He has eczema. 

6. He wears a lot of suits.

Let me add, 

7. She doesn't seem to know who he is until someone told her he was accomplished.  So maybe not too too popular with everyone.

8. He is definitely somewhat older, maybe middle aged. 

9. He easily sang a Christmas song hinting that he may have had a Christmas album/tour which may lead to r&b or jazzy styles.  

10. He likes to play bball. 

11. He toured in Europe this year, including Russia. He said "we" ... Could indicate a group or just his tour mates... 

I am wondering if he was from Tennessee or just lived there a while, could mean he has some roots to those styles.  Didn't have much of an accent.

I was guessing people like Boys II Men, RKelly, Darius Rucker (don't know if he has an accent), Baby Face(unlikely), Maxwell, Will.I.Am ...
