I think the way you see the album is very one sided. But that aside, how does Jewels N Drugs not fit the experimental aspect of the album?

this thread makes me so depressed , ARTPOP was meant to be so much bigger but everything turned out to be a mess 

but i think that the songs are really conected tho , when it comes to show a little story , also she sayd that ARTPOP was a "celebration of her pain"

i only hope that gaga is still waiting to make more conceptuals albums in the future with interesting concepts just like ARTPOP

it's to shed light on how it could've been flawless

Like what Gaga said. The album was her "Celebration of obsession". And it got delivered. Musically it was a journey of her fascinations in life. Love, Sex, Drugs, Freeing herself (Dope, MJH, Swine, DWUW), Traveling, Connection with fans, Fame, ART. 

And she presented the music using artistic references. Putting ART in front of POP, ARTPOP. Reverse warholian expedition. Instead of using Pop as a vehicle to deliver art, she used Art to deliver pop. That's the way it was supposed to be really.

What  it does though. DWUW is commercial, Aura is experimental. Sexxx Dreams is radio friendly.
