Gaga's best bridges are ones that really elevate a song by taking it somewhere new by presenting things from a new angle. Songs that immediately come to mind that have great bridges for me are Bad Romance, TEOG, MTN.

But my absolute favourite is the one in DWUW, which lends a real sense of pathos to a song that is already slinky, sexy, empowering, provocative and smart. It takes a clever pop song that is already functioning rather marvellously on several levels and gives it a great big heart.

But yes, she is often very good at bridges, largely because her strength as a songwriter is that her songs shift and meander in tone and style and perspective. Her best songs are very three dimensional.
