The Fame Is 1 Of The Biggest Dance Electronic Albums of 2017

Sure The Chainsmokers album Memories...Do Not Open and their EP Collage have dominated the 2017 Billboard year (mid-November 2016 to mid November 2017) on the Dance/Electronic albums chart. And yes, Calvin Harris' album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 came out mid year and took over the #1 spot from The Chainsmokers. However, The Fame was in the Top 5 of the Dance/Electronic albums chart for a good portion of the year.

The Billboard year-end charts come out next week and I predict that The Fame will be the 3rd or 4th biggest Dance/Electronic album of 2017.

HOW AMAZING

The Fame didn't make the year end top 25 dance/electronic album list in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, or 2016. It was #3 in 2011. So this was a big year for The Fame. Here's how it charted this Billboard year (charts are dated 11 days ahead):

This album is criminally underrated here, probably because of new fans not living through the revolution of pop music & it's performances/fashion

The best concept Gaga has ever brought and one of the best in pop music history. The Fame is forever the definition of Lady Gaga and I'm sorry that so many fans can't recognise it.

literally disgusted with the amount of people on here who say it's her worst album, like bitch do you even understand the impact its had on dance music? it bought dance music to the mainstream. all these djs incl the ratsmokers can thank her for their success

Not only did she bring electronic/synth music into spotlight, revolutionized the sound of 80's pop wave bringing elements of glam BUT she also brought into the spotlight the word *ICON*. Media was obsessed with her. People were thirsty to see what she's up to next. Nowadays kiddos are ok with the shock value of the artists, but back in 2008, even the hair bow was a thing to be talked about for days!! She was so fresh and new that my heart almost aches. Put your drinks up for THE FAME!

I Wantth your Love...I Wantth your Love.
