I thought LoveGame at Coachella had some awesome riffing and felt very powerful. And the vocals throughout the JWT have been stunning, the consistency is real. Other favorites: -Sound of Music at the Oscars -Gypsy at AMPYA -National anthem at the Super Bowl -Joanne acoustic in Japan -her TEOG performance in the Joanne World Tour -Evry Time We Say Goodbye on The Tonight Show -Born This Way acapella on The Monster Ball HBO special there are so many amazing performances! It was live, and not one flaw. Plus the vocal technicality of it was insane. She does riffs, but doesn’t over do it like Xtina and Beyonce. She tends to treat runs and riffs more like Whitney and Celine- which is- be effective, not a show off. Other faves - Edge of Glory(the recent one with the presidents). Tribute To Sting. - goes from screaming and growling to sheer vocal brilliance. Bang Bang live- with the Cher wig.
