I'm also talking about the way they sing they sing the same sort of way all the time. While other people experiment with their voice. (yes I know gonna get ALOT of backlash for this comment) :nails:

Can you post an example of what you mean?

And I always put Beyoncé and Rihanna in the pop realm.

I'm talking about contemporary artists of the 2010's...

Tinashe, Ciara, Kelly, Janelle, Zendaya.. they are just not really big like Bey and Rih

Rihanna though is one of the biggest pop stars in the world. She's probably the biggest pop star our generation has.

I think it's because black people like to "respect" their culture too much. Black people are very into "their thing", therefore there is a certain way of thinking where if you're black you must respect your roots and your tradition. In music, that's doing RnB and rap, or something like that. If you don't do it, you're not a "true black person".

Anyway, Michael Jackson is the King of Pop, so... The biggest act in pop history is black... There goes your point.

This is a very interesting question. I hope we get a genuine answer and not evolve into a race war. Excluding light skinned and mixed singers. I also wonder why we have no black popstars. I mean dark skin pop singers.

Beyonce, Rihanna. And they are not close to popstars. They are popstars.

excuse me no that's very disrespectful. He didn't become anything. His skin lightened cuz he had vitilago, so he bleached his skin to get a more even skintone. He was black and will always will be

I'm gonna rephrase...

What I'm asking is that how come most black people sing the same kind of vocal style. I've noticed that other races (e.g. hispanic, east asian, indian, and white experiment with their vocal styles).

He did not "become" white. He had vitilago (or whatever that skin pigmentation permutation is called)  and sought skin bleaching as treatment.
