Relying on looks and the shock factor won't work one day, as it is apparent from Madonna's career :tea:

Except that Gaga can do both: vocal talent and shocking looks again.

Madonna kinda merely relied on ha controversial persona to stay relevant.

She always served vocals. So I don't know what you're talking about :classy:

this might be too extreme, but this is what makes her attractive

honeyyouhaveabigsttormcomingif.

but i know what you say and  somettimes i feel that way too, BUT think about it , she is the only artist that could be like madonna or whitney or barbra when she wantts too.

at the end she is a polifacetic artist :whitney: and the most interesting of our time (don't use the joanne era , dive bar cancelation , etc to attack me:neyde:)

I think of it as part of her "Boundary-Pushing" thing.

Think of it this way. A pop girl who was known for dance music and flashy, over-the-top clothes, suddenly becomes an well-respected artist/trained vocalist who keeps getting praise from legends and the masses. Now she becomes a boundary-pushing artist who is classically trained in vocals.

It's not like she wasn't classically trained from the beginning. She was. I also don't know why anyone would separate those two things when they blend so well together, and what makes Gaga, GAGA. No one else is like her.

He's literally talking about pushing boundaries, not beauty

What boundaries did Madonna push besides being sexual and relying on shock factor? :oprah:

Edit: which are both dependent on looks or "beauty"

We are lucky enough to stan for an artist with vocal talents AND can push boundaries.

Look at Joanne, it's simple, vocals were amazing and it inspires so many female artists to go back to their musical roots (example: Miley, Kesha)

I think Joanne as an album proved that she can do both quite easily.
