Such stats make it tempting to re-write 25’s journey to global triumph (and 23m+ sales) as a forgone conclusion. First: off the back of the 35m-selling 21, this was arguably the world’s most pressurized record release since Michael Jackson’s Bad. However, I don't see why she alone can sell this many albums.Besides maybe being easily digestible for people of all ages especially those that still buy records. Throwback to the nineties when it seemed like an album was a flop if it didn't move at least 15 million, nowadays it's praised if it can move 1 million.
