Angel Down Hillary rally performance appreciation thread

This is my favorite performance of Angel Down and one of my favorite performances from this era. The vocals were on point and I like how she used the political elements of he time to give new meaning to the song. I ****ing cried at the time. Looking back now, after the orange from hell won, I ****ing cried when she said "we can't let him win". Just a great performance.

I think history is and isn't on our side. The last 3 pop tours she's done all the songs from the album at some point. So that's good reason to believe she will perform DIC(k) at some point. But if we want to see all the songs performed at our show, that may not happen. Most BTWB shows didn't include The Queen and no Artrave included all 15 songs from ARTPOP. So we may not get to see DIC(k) performed live in person (tho the odds are still very good we will) but we're almost guaranteed to get a performance at some point.

You can tell in the video Gaga did too. I think that's why she took the election results so hard. Our hope for America was destroyed in a matter of hours. At 8 that night we all thought we were gonna elect our most liberal to date and first wome president and then by midnight, we had to accept the fact that we were electing a backward nutjob. I'm still traumatized.

The fact that this amazing song about war and violence was performed in the campaign of a woman that was a full supporter of war and violence makes me sad.
