When CTTR came out there was talk here that is very unusual for Katy not to debut at #1.  Does she chart that much higher than Gaga?  Or were people talking about something else.

Not shocked. They all make sense when taking into account what day of the week they were released, whether it was a pre-album single, or the year it was released considering Billboard changes their formula like once or twice a year.
