The Grammys, imo, lean towards giving AOTY awards to country/folk/rock musicians. Joanne is pop, but it's definitely influenced by those genres. Look at past winners: Beck, Mumford & Sons, U2, Arcade Fire and Taylor won twice... It's for DJs like Calvin Harris and Zedd, they changed the rules. Perfect Illusion is not eligible this year. The ones which I think stand a chance are: Million Reasons - Best Pop Solo Performance, Song of the Year Joanne - Best Pop Vocal Album, Album of the Year The ones which will be submitted but unlikely to be nominated: The Cure - Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance John Wayne - same as above Best Music Video - John Wayne or The Cure perhaps...
