I feel like Born This Way era had an aesthetic with the most potential, you could twist it in different ways for eternity but it still has this very distinct unified feeling. Similarly with The Fame, very unified looks but it's almost too repetitive and the tan, god the amount of tan she used The Fame Monster looks are very inbetween, like C2C just testing new things imo, though the yellow hair is very tfm. Joanne is SO toned down in comparison to the others I didn't even realize it, hell even C2C era was more crazy but it's also got that very unified a la TF/BTW aesthetic going on and I love it. ANNND then there's ARTPOP We really underappreciated the experimentation she had going on during the era. I feel like there's no clear path, she goes from pure elegance to the craziest outfits she's ever worn, from looking mature to giving major The Fame throwbacks it's so fun to look back to. I don't think I could choose a favorite they are all so distinctively different. I would probably still go with Born This Way, cause she managed to incorporate so much into looks, make them very interesting and original yet very unified all together.
