Letmelivemylife 8,715 Posted March 25, 2017 Share Posted March 25, 2017 My bio mom is staying with me for a week due to personal reasons and we had our first real honest bonding moment tonight!!! Oh my god I feel like I'm gonna cry!!! We were watching Drag Race and I had to explain the whole "mother monster is here" deal. I went into the whole history behind "mama monster" and why gaga will always be mama monster. It's wasn't a perfect moment and it doesn't erase all of the hurt and anger of my childhood but it's a step in the right direction. I do love my bio mom and I will always be there for her but part of me still resents her for not being there when I was growing up. I love you monsters. Good step in a new direction Between me and you I secretly wonder if I'll ever be able to call her "mom". She wasn't ever there when I needed her so she isn't "mom" to me. Giving birth doesn't make a woman a mom. Being a mom is about always being there when you're needed the most. I love you monsters.
