I mean, the tattoos I got dedicated to the era explain my love for ARTPOP and what it was. To me ARTPOP is fun and experimental and something I just love to hear where as Joanne, I literally only listen from A-Yo to Perfect Illusion then turn it off, the rest are not my cup of tea BUT everyone else seems to love it and that's good! musicnotbling 1,692 Posted March 15, 2017 Share Posted March 15, 2017 it's fine ya'll, most people are fans of lady gaga because of her edm style. she has been doing mainly edm since her fame broke out, which is a huge difference to her maturing style in joanne that has a country vibe to it. joanne is still a great album, but not a lot of people are fans of that country taste. i personally sort of like country, because i grew up with some of my family members listening to it, but ARTPOP has more bops. they both have their ups and downs. ARTPOP is a bop/rave album, joanne is a personal/folk pop album. you really can't even compare the two, when they aren't even like the same genre anymore.
