Would really enjoy a franchise tag in the tags section mods. Anyways...

Has anyone else played any games in the series?

The first game is 999 (shortened version of 9 hours, 9 doors, 9 persons) released on the DS.

the second and sequal to 999 is Virtue's Last Reward, and was released on the 3DS and PSV.

The third is Zero Time Dilemma, and I'm not sure if it continues the story of the first two games as I haven't played it.

 

All the games are visual novels, mixed with puzzle solving elements. They also make you feel stupid. A lot.

There's also utter mindf*uckery going on. Like seriously, these games will break your brain, they are so weird in storyline.

The games are really fun though, and I'd like to say, some of my fav games ever. Though I don't like how they did Virtue's Last reward. They should've stuck to anime cutout types and not with 3-D characters.

Your guys thoughts? Played any of them?
