First time to a Gaga concert - need some tips

Hi friends, just recently became a little monster myself - I'm planning on surprising someone (a fan for 9 years) with her first gaga concert. We saw her with T Bennett at Tanglewood, but this is a totally different experience.

Question is this: we live in RI and have two options - Fenway in Boston or Mohegan sun in CT. Both have their perks and downfalls, and I would like to know what people think about these two types of venues (outdoor vs. indoor, all seated vs. GA floor). My guess is mohegan sun will be cheaper, and probably more intimate, but it's also two months later and I don't want to wait that long.

Also, I know waiting til general public tickets was a nightmare for Tanglewood because we ended up with back row seats. Is it worth it to get early access? I want to get either floor or close to it, and I want to do it on ticketmaster, not some way-inflated ripoff site.

Any thoughts would be super appreciated. Thanks :D

I would recommend getting early access. It's just a lot less stress and you're more likely to get what you want. I don't know anything about those venues but I'd always go with GA floor because I just love the experience of it.

Mohegan Sun is generally more expensive (not cheaper) than all the other dates because of the fact that it's a casino/less capacity. Other price ranges for the non-stadium dates are $45-$250 but Mohegan Sun is $49-$399 for reserved seats.

I'd recommend early access with a presale if you can! That way you can try on multiple dates to get tickets. There's a Joanne presale tomorrow (if you purchase an item in her store to get a code) and also a Citi Bank presale tomorrow, too. There's also a Livenation presale 2 days after that, and then general public goes on sale a few days after that. You can try multiple times. :)

Good to know, thanks.

Let's say I don't do presale - do you think there will still be considerable Loge (at mohegan) or floor (at Fenway) if I wait until general public sale? Seeing as though this tour looks like it's going to be super well attended, I'm a bit worried about that, but I don't need anything from the store lol. Maybe I'll get the vinyl again :usrs:

If you get on exactly when the tickets go on sale to the general public, I wouldn't worry. The stadiums have 5+ levels and usually the casual fans don't like spending mass amounts of money for seats.

For the Citi presale you need the first 6 digits of the debit/credit card. That's your presale code. The first leg for that presale goes on sale tomorrow at 9am and then the second leg of the tour is on Friday at 9am. Pretty sure CT is on Friday.

For the Livenation presale, you have to download the Livenation app. I'm assuming that's all you have to do. :)

You are the best. Thanks!

Yeah I would be cheap, but the person I'm going with is no casual fan :D Also, I feel like the experience will be so excellent if we're up close. I think I'll try both of those for Fenway and see what the prices are like, then look Friday as well for CT.

Thanks a ton!
