Putting Lady Gaga on the Super Bowl’s roof could cost $100,000 to insure

1. She will happily pay it.

2. Claims on policies only affect insurance of the same type. Legal insurance and insurance for performing are different things.

Her broken hip and cancelled tour could bump up the insurance, for example.

What's the point of the roof thing though? Is she going to perform outside on the roof with no live audience surrounding her? What if it rains? Literally what is the point? There are so many more opportunities if she performs on the actual ground. If she pitched this idea I don't think it's insurance or anything like that that would stop them it would just be the pure stupidity of the idea

"What if it rains?"

This is so perfectly illustrative of this website's relationship with Lady Gaga. I'll lobby to put it on GGD's headstone when the time comes. Thank you.

This roof story doesn't make any sense...isn't the stadium open-air, hence there is no roof? Like wtf are they talking about?

The NRG has a retractable roof.

That means it can be open or closed.

Expenses for the performance are covered by Pepsi, advertisement for the superbowl is $3 million per 30 seconds. $100k is a trivially small amount of money when it comes to superbowl money.

who cares it's worth more than that and it would be the best 100.000 spent ever.
