romonster 1,782 Posted January 14, 2017 Share Posted January 14, 2017 Granted the women nominated alongside her were probably more experienced in acting and delivered better performances but at least Gaga worked her ass off for American Horror Story and it isn't every day that you see a musician and singer-songwriter first and foremost so committed to improving in that department. If she had half-assed her role and hadn't taken it seriously and then received the Golden Globe, then I'd see a reason to say she didn't deserve it. I think they wanted to recognize Gaga's bravery and talent and she deserves this type of recognition. I mean The Countess's story was tied to every character in the season and she was on screen with huge and talented actors like Evan, Sarah, Kathy or Matt Bomer but she was still able to become a cold hearted blood sucking 100 years old murderer....
