I mean Gaga's acting is pretty...meh. I don't know about Madonna either.

But when Gaga won the Golden Globe I was happy, but really very extremely utterly surprised. Her acting in AHS was so choppy (?). I can't describe it. It just didn't scream award winning to me.

But that's just me 

EDIT: It could also be that I found Hotel to be very boring. AHS as a whole makes me yawn. I expected horror but it's just a drama/thriller/comedy thing? Coven was flawless, and I'm working on getting through the first two seasons.

They really can't

But there's always hope, what if the right director who really understood both of them was somehow able to get them to do something amazing.  I think of Mariah Carey in precious  (although Mariah did well in other roles too so).
