A metaphor for her crazy clothes and glam lifestyle. Her facial expression is very controlled like the crazy part of her career. This is the vulnerable Gaga. Dark hair like Stefani. The smears and dirt emphasize her rawness and wild side. Her facial expression is more candid. I love these two pictures so much. They are probably in my Top 5 of all time Gaga photos.
