LIV - Wings of Love

There’s a new Swedish supergroup on the block. LIV has been formed, and features members Lykke Li, producer (and Lykke Li’s boyfriend) Jeff Bhasker, Bjorn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John, and Miike Snow members Andrew Wyatt and Pontus Winnberg. All of these people have a a pre-existing relationship as they (with the exception of Bhasker) helped found the label/artist collective INGRID back in 2012 and have all worked together in various capacities since then.

They’ve shared their first song, a lovely indie-folk track called “Wings of Love.” It’s a catchy, lilting mid-tempo song, and the band has more than a little Swedish New ****ographers vibe.

Peter Bjorn and John recently wrapped up a tour, while Miike Snow are in the midst of one. Listen to “Wings of Love” below.
