Okay, I could not get this quote box out of here, so I apologize. But YES! Grave Encounters! That's the one. My cousin and I loved that movie.

The Visit!!! Also The Conjuring 2! It is AMAZING.

I'm home alone for the summer at my apartment and watching this wrecked me :toofunny:

I was so afraid to turn off the light and go to my bed, I had to call my friend and have her stay on the phone as I bolted up the stairs to my room and locked the door behind me :deadbanana:

I love Sleepy Hollow by Tim Burton, it's kinda funny and scary at the same time. Very dark and impactful :)

Haven't watched The Conjuring 2 yet, but I'm looking forward to it :excited2:

It's good :rip: of course it made me laugh though as most films like that do. Sinister had me in tears with the lawn mower bit :rip:

OT: My favorite horror movie is Alien. A true classic, a real suspenseful thriller :excited2: it was one of the first horror movies I actually saw and omg it scared the daylights out of me as a kid. There's another movie that still terrifies me called Fire in the Sky. I used to have these graphic nightmares about aliens so that movie f*cks me up. I'm 22 and still can't watch it :awkney:

My friend and I watch scary movies all the time even though our tastes differ a bit. He likes paranormal movies, demons, hauntings, creepy possessed dolls, and killer/crazy clowns and I like more slasher type films, suspense, sci-fi, and I have a sweet spot for aliens.

Spoiler

Honorable mentions off the top of my head

IT
Killer Clowns From Outer Space
Clown Town
The Boy
(2016)
Annabelle
Haunting in Connecticut
Sinister
The Conjuring
Amityville Terror
Lights Out
Splice

The entire Alien franchise (including AVP and Prometheus)
The Halloween franchise
The Nightmare on Elm Street franchise
The Friday the 13th franchise

I'm forgetting so many that I love

Hush!!!!! It's on Netflix. Incredibly suspenseful.

Yes! I was gonna come in and say this. I might even watch it again tonight.

Hush is the best recent horror film I've seen, I was literally on the edge of my seat :rip:

God damn haha. You've seen everything. Do you know what movie involved a group of people going into an asylum at night to record a TV show or something? Apparently it was based off of a true story.

Grave Encounters :staymad:

I watched this on HBOGO recently and enjoyed it. its not like top notch horror or anything but it was fun and had a good story. any new horror is usually going to have its share of haters though, so of course anytime ive mentioned this movie people are like blah, especially if youre not into the hand held camera type of filming. i really liked that this movie took place in the catacombs underneath paris.
