If Gaga's new song/video isn't good, would you still hope for it's success?

If Gaga releases music that you realise actually isn't that good and you don't like it really much, would you still hope that it's successful and chart really well, or would not care at all if it doesn't chart high?

Like maybe 4 example in a scenario where she releases a new EDM song that is annoying, bland and full of cringey lyrics, and you feel really disappointed, would you even hope it charts well on the hot 100?

I really don't know how to answer this question. It really depends on whether you care more for Gaga herself or her art...

She released Jewels nd Drugs and I'm here. I don't care if she gets #1 on the Hot 100 because even Work got it so a #1 doesn't really mean best quality of art.

Yes. I stan rihanna and sometimes her **** just sucks (like work) but I always want her to be successful. How work managed 9 weeks at number one is beyond me but I'm proud of my other fave regardless!

Well sure, just because something doesn't appeal to me doesn't mean I hope the artist behind it fails miserably.


It goes both ways too, I mean if I really love a song and/or an artist I don't mind if it goes #1 or doesn't chart. If I really hate a song and/or artist I don't mind if it goes #1 or doesn't chart.

I mean Katy Perry isn't my sort of artist, but I'm happy for her when her singles go #1.

I like Gaga, I wish her the best and I hope she does well. If I like the song and it underperforms then oh well, If I hate the song and it does well then good for her
