Meghan, Ariana, Britney (idk if she will perform tho) and much more will be performing there! she won't be the only artist, and she'll have a competition (which a lot of you afraid of, idk why tho, that's Gaga) so I think August is less likely and the VMAs is not the only place to promote a single! Id prefer the studio to come first unexpectedly rather than have live vocals and then a possibly disappointing studio version. The decline started in 2013 when they asked Gaga to change her performance so that Miley could upstage her. So no I don't want Gaga to perform at the VMAs. I want their ratings to keep dropping.
