I certainly try to sing her songs like her. I always thought it was weird when the audience sing along to her concerts live and they're singing in their native accents because it doesn't sound right to me! When I first saw her at MB, everyone was singing along to Speechless in their Scottish accents that sounded more like a lazy talking drawl than singing and I was like "Why aren't you singing it properly?" I could never sing someone else's song in my own accent (not that I have a regional accented singing voice anyway) because it just doesn't fit.
