However, the summer olympics this year are being held in Rio De Janeiro and the opening / closing ceremonies could just be made of Brazilians like at London 2012. Though, Brazil doesn't really have many internationally known performers so could book well known western acts to get international attention. This is supported by her being booked for the 2015 Europian games showing she's desirable for an international event even if she's not from that country.
