Sorry for asking, I'm a flop fan. I wasn't stanning back then so for me she really disappeared. The time between BTW album release and ARTPOP release felt like ages for me, while now she has been much more active with side projects, although the gap is almost the same. DiscoHeaven23 35,007 Posted December 11, 2015 Share Posted December 11, 2015 2010 (i mean, she was the artist of the year that year based on Billboard's calculations) 2009 She was the best new artist of the year according to Billboard calculations (3rd overall) 2011 This year solidified her pop culture iconicism. 2015 The year of reinvention and artistic talent. 2012 The Born This Way Ball year, it was a MAJOR success. 2013 Even though she was in a wheelchair half the year, ARTPOP still went #1 and Applause did well too 2014 Yea...not the best year for her. Meltdown, G.U.Y. flopped. but i think the year did end well. Cheek to Cheek, ARTPOP tour. I'm not including 2008, cuz i don't think its fair to compare it to the others.
