Well I wasn't a fan until late 2009 but I wanted to know what the reactions were when she got the tattoo on her arm after paparazzi. What did the fans think about all the rumours in 2009? The hermie rumours? The fame monster fake track list? Tell me these things!

Head Empty

I did find this thread on ATRL, where monsters are first reacting to the final version of Bad Romance. It's really funny to see how people didn't like it and though it would flop :smh:

"This is nothing impressive, seems like a leftover track from the original The Fame.
Even Starstruck is better imo."

"ALEJANDRO>>>>>>>ANY OTHER SONG GAGAS DONE TO DATE. IT will BE HUGE"

"the demo was way better... i hate the beggining part now and the part where she starts speaking french... MOVE ON TO ALEJANDRO"

:smh:

i don't remember any outrage about the tattoo honestly, I think everyone (well-most people) loved the meaning behind it and really liked it.

The rumuors were annoying and most threads were "so-and-so called her this." but it got to the point where it was comical, like people actually believe this sh!t?

I think the best part of that era was when the Bad Romance demo leaked. I listened to in non-stop and was so mezmorised. A few days later we got the real version but the having the demo leak like that was pretty amazing

Funny how people thought BR was going to flop yet it became one of her most iconic hits.

I wasn't a fan until 2011 so I wonder about this stuff too. Like the rumors that she was hospitalized multiple times in 2009. Did anyone believe that? Is it actually true?

2000+ comments in reaction to bad romance http://ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com/40951850.html

ONTD is kinda :neyde: tho

Some of the comments are so harsh:

"GaGa can never just be "inspired" by something without turning it into a gaudy, bombastic mess, can she? I kind of thought she was going to incorporate this whole monster theme into her music with a bit more tact, not just morbid nonsense and wack production"

"And I have to stood against all the "overrated" or "over the top" stuff, as I figured it's just Gaga. But with this I now feel she is just trying too hard. The song is so terrible, like I can't even describe how I felt while listening. And when it ended I was in total disgust at all the idiotic hype. It's truly horrific. It tries too hard to be innovative when in reality it's a big hot mess of beats combined together, mixing with RedOne's usual mess. Literally sounds like a train wreck occurring for 4 minutes straight. Sorry Gaga, love ya but this is not gonna work for me and I hope it flops.

"Alejandro" >>"

"Hearing it for a second time, it's kind of painful to listen to, The tone of her voice, the instumental... it's just overkill. Whoever called it a trainwreck was kind of right.

But then again, that melody is drilled into my skull. IDK."
