Fernando Garibay was the original executive producer but he didn't want to commit to traveling the world with her for another two years and not have the time to work with other artists. It's annoying that she dropped him from the project entirely cause needless to say it would have been a much better album with him involved, but oh well it's way in the past now.

She still went with the decay of the icon theme....

except, she didn't do it visually, necessarily 

 

it was like a piece of performance art. During the ARTPOP era, SHE was decaying. She was being called a flop. Remember the 'Lady Gaga Is Over' video.

the original ARTPOP is what u get on 11.11.2013 if it was different album then it wouldn't be called ARTPOP.... if u have a child and u picked the name Jenna but then it turns out the child is a boy not a girl u change the name .... u do not keep it the same
