That's pretty similar to the US and UK I think, I don't think it's specific to Canada  I guess the competition from other songs was too great and there wasn't enough demand for hers in comparison

That happens to every artist, it's not a strange or bad thing... It's not like your single has to chart at #1 or nowhere else in the top ten. It's just the way it is.
