Posted on March 4, 2010 by Patricia with 5 commentsMany of you guys wanted me to prepare a special (or if possible, and even better, a serie of them) about the designers Gaga’s chosen to wear for the Monster Ball Tour interludes. Aaand… … this is the first chapter. In the first minimovie, I believe is called “The Exorcist”,… … Gaga wears… … this amazing pleated skirt from the only white look belonging to Marko Mitanovski SS 2010 “Lady Macbeth” collection. Take a good note. You’ll be hearing a looot about this talented Serbian Mr. Magic Hands. Here is a small part of the collection I fell deeply in love with after I met Marko last week. Virtually only… because otherwise you’d still be waiting for me. I’d still be trying on his creations. All of them. One by one. And now, after above mini appetizer, I want to invite you to visit Marko’s official site and slooowly with your eyes wide open review all the looks from his fascinating collection. Take your time. And when you get back, I’ll still be here waiting for you with more after the jump… Posted on March 2, 2010 by Patricia with 0 commentsYou remember Gaga wearing one of Rachael Barrett’s silicone rubber dresses in the Bad Romance video, don’t you? Or the one she’s chosen for the Ellen DeGeneres Show? And also the bespoke rubber bodice she’s teamed-up with the Mouton Collet hat you loved so much? And those lucky of you who attended one the last shows in the US, will also recall this silicone rubber with navy lace marvel Gaga rocked on the Monster Ball stage. Not only Gaga loves wearing Rachael Barrett’s unique pieces that explore the female form and the trapped space between the body and the garment, Rachael is also one of the designers who have created one-of-a-kind costumes for the Monster Ball Tour. Gaga’s “Nun” dress “before”…
… and “after”. Rachael’s trademark silicone rubber is easily recognizable so I’m beyond sure daily readers know who was behind the shorts and sleeveles jacket suit Gaga wore on and off stage in London with Philip Treacy Lobster hat, Yellow Hand by Gary Card and vertiginous glittery platforms by Giorgio Armani. Aaand… there is another dress Rachael Barrett has created for our girl… … but that’s another story Photos vía: Gagadaly/gallery, GagaSource, Rachael Barrett Posted on February 28, 2010 by Patricia with 3 commentsStill in London. This time wearing… … this stunning leather top by Gemma Slack from her just presented AW 2010 collection, for which she teamed-up with Katie Rowland. And I promise to share better photos from soon. This half jacket reminds me one of my favourite fairy tales by brothers Grimm about a farmer’s daughter. She was given a riddle to solve by the king. She had to come to see him not dressed, not undressed, not naked, not riding, not walking, not driving, not at night, not at day… Remember that one? And who said Gaga doesn’t wear pants? The not dressed, not undressed, not naked chain marvel is from Maria Francesca Pepe AW 2010 collection you can read more about on Dazzed Digital. Photos vía: TFS, Fmag, Zimbio & Thanks @gagaonline for your help! Posted on February 25, 2010 by Patricia with 1 commentThis is to answer your “but what did she wear underneath?” questions. I told you and you kept asking beause in the video it was close to impossible to see it, so here comes the prove. Underneath it all it was one of her nude bodysuits by Maison Martin Margiela. I love you too. *Raaawr* Photo vía: FYLG Posted on February 20, 2010 by Patricia with 9 commentsMany of you asked me about the outfit Gaga wore for her CNN interview last week. Both pieces are one-of-a-kind. Created by Erickson Beamon using the best Swarovski crystals. What a work! What a beauty! Astonishing. When I got these exclusive photos, I was staring at the mask for a while. Metal lashes topped with crystals. Fairytalness! Both body jewels, as well as the crystal harness our girl wore with her Jean Paul Gaultier Envers Dress, belong to Erickson Beamon “Duchess of Fabulous” collection. Photos vía: Erickson Beamon |
