I receive tones of e-mails with your favourite Gaga hairdos. And do you know what was the most interesting thing? When it comes to sunglasses, there are clear favourites. Clear most wanted. It was not that hard to put together the top list (I mean the list itself not the ID’s ).

But the moment we started to talk about hair styles, the situation has changed. Every one of you has a different opinion. Each of you has another favourite.

I have to say there are three hairdo’s many of you loved but I wouldn’t dare to come into the conclusion those are the ones fans like the most.

So what do you do if you promised to put together a hair special and talk about the most “voted” looks but the thing is just about all hair cuts, do’s and creations Gaga has ever worn were nominated and actually received about the same amount of votes?

Then, I humbly admit, I got one of my fabulous ideas

If you think this one will be short, it won’t, so you better go and grab your latté or mate and off we go for a walk through Lady Gaga hair styles. This time in alphabetical order.

1. BOB

You love our girl with this cut that comes and goes and than appears again since the 20′s. Shorter and longer. Blonde or with colour touches.

2. BOW

Probably  the most notorious. Some of you like it more on her short bob because it’s “so cute”…

… for others “she looks better with longer hair”.

This picture is an advertising visual from the 60′s. Did they know already by then Gaga is going to be “sent to Earth to infiltrate human culture one sequin at a time”?

3. BIG HAIR

You loved her purple hair creation.

You adored how her hair looked in OUT Magazine.

Wild big hairdo’s are one of my favourites too. They remind me of  the magnificent work of Robert Masciave I truly admire and applaude to.

Tell me, wouldn’t any of these look fierce on Gagaloo?

4. BUTTON

This was one of the three that received more “votes” vs. the rest. You loved her blond button hat…

…but also the smaller “disc” with colour touches she wore in Paparazzi and her Aera photo shoot, among others.

I’m not able to tell you who created these headpieces for her but as Gagaloo said, with some extensions and creativity you can do miracles.

I’d love to try this one created by Oliver Chomienne. Another beloved hair master of mine.

These Oliver’s works of hair art would suit Gaga like a glove, wouldn’t they?

Can’t finish this one without mentioning fabulous Spanish designer José Castro Spring 2010 collection.

5. CONE

Another one that got more votes than the rest. You loved the braided cone she wore in Paparazzi…

… but also the black one Gaga rocked in Manila.

The girl always makes us think and that is what I truly love!

When I first saw the black cone, I thought it was Charlie le Mindu. Another excellent hair magician.

But then I read Gagaloo calls the one she wore in Manila “Korea”, so I thought it could be Teiji Utsumi‘s work. Anyway anyhow, we really love this one!

6. CRIMPED HAIR

You can laugh all you want but first time I saw Gaga wearing the crimped bob in Paris, I thought about Betsey Johnson‘s trademark crimped hair.

Than about much more names… Charlie le Mindu… Grace Jones… hair stylist Peter Gray… also about my mum doing all those braids on my still wet hair and myself sleeping in them back in the 80′s…

I thought about Madonna… Cyndi Lauper… Debbie Harry… Alexander McQueen… Jean Paul Gaultier… and you, what did you think about?

7. HALO or SUNBURST

The third one that got more love than the others but again, don’t dare to say this is The One. What I can say is you really looove it.

Aza123neo finds this one one of his favourites: “I love how the hairpiece looks like a sunburst; it frames her head in a similar way to important Christian figures in old biblical paintings”.

GagaFrontRow thinks about “Sun Goddess”.

And what were your thoughts the first time you spotted it?

8. HOLLYWOOD

You like this voluminous look on Gaga very much.

Both blonde…

… and with colour touches. As Sam said about this one “it’s very glamorous and old Hollywood, but still rock’n'roll with the pink in it“.

9. from LAVENDER to PURPLE

You love it short. You love it long. You adore it with or without bow.

10. LONG

You like it straight.

You love it curly.

You find it fabulous with plaits.

Some of you prefer it blonde, some love it more with colour textures.

11. THE BEST OF THE REST: Hats, headpieces, headdresses…

You loved the Atsuko Kudo latex Ribbon... Junko Shimada Pantent Leather Fishnet Headmask… Maison Michel Bunny Headband... Nasir Mazhar Orb hatpiece.

You really adore her Nagi Noda Elephant hair hat (I also love the other one she wore for one of her multiple shoots she did this year)…

Her Philip Treacy VMA headpiece.

Yoshiko Creations Umbrella hat (oh that’s one of my favourites as well and hope to bring you even more information about it soon!).

Some of you asked me about this one.

Had not been there, so can’t tell you more details but it looks like this one was given to her in Korea.

Another one that reminds me of Robert Masciave work.

You loved this one too. That was one of Katie Eary creations.

Pieter said below headdress was “a fairy tale”. And I totally agree. Much more than this. I met the designer and was blown away. You will be too.
