Posted on March 4, 2010 by Patricia with 5 commentsMany of you guys wanted me to prepare a special (or if possible, and even better, a serie of them) about the designers Gaga’s chosen to wear for the Monster Ball Tour interludes. Aaand… … this is the first chapter. In the first minimovie, I believe is called “The Exorcist”,… … Gaga wears… … this amazing pleated skirt from the only white look belonging to Marko Mitanovski SS 2010 “Lady Macbeth” collection. Take a good note. You’ll be hearing a looot about this talented Serbian Mr. Magic Hands. Here is a small part of the collection I fell deeply in love with after I met Marko last week. Virtually only… because otherwise you’d still be waiting for me. I’d still be trying on his creations. All of them. One by one. And now, after above mini appetizer, I want to invite you to visit Marko’s official site and slooowly with your eyes wide open review all the looks from his fascinating collection. Take your time. And when you get back, I’ll still be here waiting for you with more after the jump… Posted on March 3, 2010 by Patricia with 3 commentsOh my Gaga! New day, new traffic stopping outfit. This one, even the authentic Queen of the Night would proudly rock, is nothing less then mind blowing. Some of you loved her hair yellow. Some of you wanted her to go back to the lavander blonde. Well… the good news is Gaga has something for everybody. Wearing what I believe is a combination of “The Rani” – charcoal felt beret with crystal mesh veil, “The Marlene” – mantilla afro and veil with pom poms. All Piers Atkinson proposals for the upcoming AW 2010 season. Bodysuit is by Pam Hogg and the not dressed - not undressed – not naked metal skirt from Gemma Slack AW 2010 collection (I’ll bring you more photos from later this week). Beyond impressive. She literally left me speechless. Both “are made of ciré, a plastic and technical jersey. The embroidery reveals a black guipure flower motif with lace trimming. The skirt recalls an à panier structure, typical of the 18th century”. But a combo of her nude Maison Martin Margiela bodysuit, one of her elastic belts and… … and a black high waisted skirt from Gemma Slack Spring 2009 collection. Collection inspired by beasts and Nosferatu (hair styling on below pictures: Charlie le Mindu). From the same collection that includes this wool dress embellished with 20 thousands metal washers (!) … … and this fabulous waistcoat with braided human hair epaulettes. Is there any Lady Gaga look you loved and we didn’t talk about so far? Shout. Whisper. But please, drop me a line. UPDATE My trademark crunchy hug to Philip Li who kindly sent me the information about the missing piece of the puzzle. The black cape with embellished shoulders Gaga wore is from Raffaele Ascione’s 2008 graduate collection. Take a note. You’ll hear about this young Italian born in Germany and fashion educated at the University College for the Creative Arts Rochester more in short here on FASHION. Stay tuned.
