I promised you more Gaga dolls (made with love by fans), so here they go.

These cute micro Gagas are by François, who created them “based on the little Harajuku Lovers Fragrance Doll”. He’s working on his next doll already and trying to figure out how to put a little device that would make her sing! (Fingers crossed, everybody!)

You remember the picture that won our Oliver Goldsmith & GagaDaily Gaga Goo Goo contest, don’t you?

DevonPoole

So for those who loved the photo as much as I did a short behind the scenes.

I asked the lucky winner to let me know the moment he gets his Oliver Goldsmith Goo Goo’s. He did so few days after the contest results were officially annouced and promised to let me have a photo for you guys.

A picture is worth a thousand words… So here it comes.

Please meet the man behind the winning visual. Toronto based photographer Devon Poole proudly rocking his “award”. On the photo with Female Impersonator Donnarama as a bunch of Little Gaga Monsters.

Devon is currently working on his very first gallery show called “The Gaga Exhibit”. The winning photo above, along with an entire collection of photos inspired by our girl will be showcased at the exhibit this summer 2010 in Toronto, Canada.

It’s been three months since I shared his work with you. Since then Veik created Gaga’s X Factor performance look and crafted her her vinyl strip cape

… as well as her most iconic “red looks” – VMA award acceptance, Lady Gaga Party hosted by Marc Jacobs and V Magazine and Her Gaganess meets the Queen.

There were many sites that featured today already widely famous Gaga dolls since I published Veik’s first Show Time. I was so happy to see his success, I traveled as far as to Beijing to meet him.

And not only he answered my questions, he even made a brand new doll inspired in my favourite photo. Lucky me.

FASHION: When did you make your first Gaga doll?

Veik: “It was in summer 2008 after somebody’s comment on my Daria doll about her looking like Lady gGga. That was my first inspiration. I started with what I think is one of her most famous looks“.

FASHION: Which one of the multiple doll looks you created is your favourite, the one you are most proud of?

Veik: “My favourite… I think the first one, with the hair bow. I was listening “Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)” all the afternoon. Again and again. And my first Lady Gaga doll look was born that day. I’m proud I made the doll size hairbow. I’m not a professional designer. Just do the dolls for fun. I advocate DIY. The hard part is finding the right materials to make the one-of-a-kind Gaga dolls of”.

FASHION: What look was the most laborious?

Veik: “Oh, that Hello Kitty dress… OMG, I don’t even know how many tiny kittens I’ve made. Thanks God I got enough patience to finish it. And also the Kermit frog jacket. Very funny. I made them from plasticine”.

It has to be a hell of a work but the Hello Kitty look is definitely one of my top 3 favourite Gaga doll looks!

FASHION: How many different looks did you created?

Veik: “Loads. You can find all of them on Flickr. My Barbie dolls are my models. I dress them up like Lady Gaga. Black shades. Wigs. And all those outfits. It’s like a runway. I always chose the one that looks as close as possible to the photo my next creation is inspired in. Also my Daria doll has been my mini Lady Gaga for so many times. I’m trying to improve my skills constantly and what I want to do is to create all the looks again. One by one. One look – one doll and display them all together”.

FASHION: What are you currently working on?

Veik: “Lady Gaga surprises all the time. I always expect her next look. She’s a source of my inspiration. The next look I’m working on is one from her Bad Romance video. Try to guess”.

Any guess, guys?

“I have to say I’ve never watched any music video like this before. She just left me speechless. If possible I want to create every look from the video. I’ve never expected my dolls will become so popular online. Now I have to take much more seriously any pic I upload. The only problem is to find the best material for each look. I’m also learning Photoshop. Some looks just need a little hi tech help”.

I sent Veik a link to my favourite photo. He dyed the purple feathers white and here she comes. Created exclusively for FASHION.
