This gorgeous photo of Oprah and Gaga by Mario Testino is featured in the next issue of Vogue US that features The Costume Institute Ball coverage.
I would sooo love to see the whole bespoke outfit and shoes by Prada Gagita was posing in.
She was dressed in “black custom made rubberized lace dress trimmed with mohair fun fur, bordered and lined with black & white double satin. Skirt made of cotton batiste and cotton lace”.

The camel bodysuit and skirt so many of you asked me about…
… are one-of-a-kind pieces created by Prada exclusively for the Monster Ball Tour.
Both “are made of ciré, a plastic and technical jersey. The embroidery reveals a black guipure flower motif with lace trimming. The skirt recalls an à panier structure, typical of the 18th century”.

Elle goes Gaga. Our girl both graces the cover of the January issue and star in the editorial shot by Tom Munro.

Not all of the final photos are available for obvious reasons but this photo shoot is another proof of how chameleonic Gaga is. Every time different but always herself. You don’t find two editorials that are alike. Each of them is different and “tailor made” as a couture piece to fit the magazine like a glove.
In this one she rocks this unbelievable leather jacket…

… from Maison Martin Margiela artisanal collection (and God bless this man ideas and hands!). Is there anybody out there who wouldn’t looove to take this one (I mean the jacket, not Martin himself) home and wear it for ever and ever and ever more?

And what about this…

… Karl Lagerfeld Spring 2010 plastic veil wonder? Beyond gorgeous!

And this green iridescent plastic show stopper…

… Jil Sander proposes for the upcoming Sring season? Can’t hear you, what are you saying?

Make sure you watch the Behind the Scenes on Elle.com. You’ll spot much more beauties there. One of Prada Spring 2010 crystal dresses. Or this amazing piece from Viktor & Rolf Spring 2010 collection, among others.

Our girl was one of the key “pieces” of Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles’s 30th Anniversary Gala yesterday one-night-only production.
The moment I read Francesco Vezzoli will be the one behind it, without knowing any details, I was already excited. Then I found him talking about the song Lady Gaga will perform and my only wish was – if only I could be there: “The music is a new song by Gaga called Speechless. Which I should say is rather different from most of the music we have heard from her. I like the idea that it would be unexpected. Because we are all happily accustomed to Gaga’s hyperpop. And this is going to be rather more dramatic”.
One-night-only production. One of a kind objects and costumes created by renowned contemporary artists and designers.
The pink piano painted with butterflies is by Damien Hirst.
Her hat was created by Frank Gehry.
The same genius who designed two of my favourite buildings. Fred and Ginger Building in Prague and the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, here in Spain. I still can’t believe it!
Since I believed this is the very fist hat Mr. Gehry has ever created, I was trying to find more information to confirm this or prove me wrong. Happy to say I was right.
“Since I’ve never designed a hat before, I was afraid she wouldn’t be able to walk. I did have an idea that involved people with sticks holding it up, walking behind her. I didn’t know how far I could go with this thing.”
On the photo below you can see what was inside the headpiece. Blue iris with translucent glittery black eye.
The masks are director Baz Luhrmann and his wife, Catherine Martin works of art.
And the dress with the chandelier like crystal skirt…
… Gagita wore was designed by Miuccia Prada.
Pure L.O.V.E.
If you loved any of these works of art, I have a good news for you. MOCA is proud to offer these extraordinary MOCA NEW objects, in addition to the exquisite masks and costumes worn by the Bolshoi Ballet dancers, in the MOCA online auction. All proceeds will support the museum’s exhibition and education programs. Online bidding will close on Monday, November 30, 2009, at 11:59pm.
The LBD Lady Gaga’s chosen for the evening is also signed by Miuccia Prada and belongs to Prada Spring 2010 collection.

My initial idea was to put all your requests together and prepare a “TOP 5 Special”.
Then I changed my mind. Why not TOP 10? There were so many of you sending me your most wanted “nominees” and personal favourites it would not be fair narrowing it down to 5 only.
After putting together all your requests you sent me via comments and e-mails I changed my mind again and decided not to publish the TOP 10…
… but TOP 15 instead!
So grab your latte or mate and off we go from 15 to the absolut no.1!
15. D&G Butterfly
Fragile but fierce. Part of D&G Summer 2009 collection of butterfly inspired accessories and shoes. Available on D&G Online Shop for 169€.
Some of you sent me above picture saying you love her Prada sunglasses. Both are butterfly inspired with similar shape so I perfectly understand the confusion. Lady Gaga was photograped with both D&G and Prada “Butterflies” on. Which one you like better?
You like these white round oversized beauties very much. Also spotted on Angelina Jolie in her Angelina Jolie by Brad Pitt for W Magazine editorial. Available on Bluefly 159,99$.
You loved both the shape and the colour. Check out the detail of the coloured stone between the lenses, reminiscent of the Indian bindi. Launched in 2007. Also seen on Gwen Stefani. Many of the sunglasses Gaga wore are from previous seasons, vintage or rare archive pieces, so you have to be very lucky to find them online.
This is also one of my favourites. Last season available on Collette. Collaboration between jewellery designer Scott Wilson and Hussein Chalayan for his Spring 2009 runway. The idea was to create something which would give reference to sunglasses without being real sunglasses. And yes, more than sunglasses we can call these stunners an attention grabbing face jewel.
These marvels are really a statement piece. You asked me whether those translucent glasses that came with V Magazine will be available for sale.
I have no idea to be honest. I didn’t find them available online, maybe it’s because they are not a part of the core collection and on the official site the only thing you can find are a cuple of pictures. Sooo… I think you’ll have to ask in the nearest Marc Jacobs official store.
Let’s start the TOP 10!
Lady Gaga wanted them and the magic handed guys from Haus of Gaga made her vision reality.
The only information I was able to find about this custom made piece was it’s made out of iPods and actually compatible with iPod software.
Another round babies you realy wanted to know more about. Can’t tell you the name. Nor can I share with you the availability of these Balenciaga “Lennon” sunnies. A limited edition? Anybody knows?
UPDATE
Thanks to Eliucci now we know the name. For those who want to look for these round beauties it’s Balenciaga, 0006/s.
You adore them. You knew the designer but wanted to know where to get them. They were available until a couple of months ago online. Currently all the sites I found Gaga’s “Mickey” sunglasses on are linking the same online store. No luck. Sold out. If I found them anywhere, I’ll let you know.
Don’t know where Lady Gaga got them but these were available at American Apparel this summer. Giant Vintage 2680 Shades. Price: 44€. Yes you see well!
As far as I understood even though they are considering manufacturing their own glasses one day, the shades they currently sell are not made by American Apparel. They are vintage and dead stock they collect all over. From remote factories in The Valley to out-of-business optometrists in Montréal. So if you have them, let us know the brand.
I believe one of her most famous sunglasses. Google “Versace 676″ and you’ll find plenty of Gaga’s pictures. Magnificent rare vintage piece designed by Gianni Versace about 20 years ago.
Just about everybody wants to have these.
I found a couple of them on eBay. Gone.
I found another ones on Solakzade. No luck. Gone.
Let me know if you find any and if you make them yours for ever and ever, don’t forget to share a picture!
Found a pair on Love-Worn.com. And what you think?
Another one on Solakzade.net… Too slow… To late… Gaga fever… Gone…
We have two “winners” here.
These pinhole glasses adorned with crystals clustred over the right lens I believe are custom made by Haus of Gaga. But I can be very wrong.
I saw quite a few DIY on the net. If you already have yours, don’t hesitate a second and send me a picture. Really looking forward to them. Will share them all with the audience.
And these Flip-Up Shades.
The only pair I didn’t find anywhere. An enigma. So can’t be of any help for you unfortunatelly. Anybody out there can?
The closest thing I could find were flip-up sunglasses made by Hi-Tek Designs. Check out Alexander Hi-Tek site , you’ll find really cool glasses there.
And here we go to the TOP 3!
Featured in the Love Game video. These fence eye jewels are one of your TOP 3 most wanted!
I believe they were custom made for our girl by Stevie Boi but you can buy similar ones in his online store.
And if you really look for original and show stopping glasses, visit Stevie Boi. You can even custom your shades to your liking! Chose the size, shape and colour you want. Add some studs, cones or chains. Or even send special instructions of how you want your glasses to be.
Another rare 80′s sunglasses. Made in West Germany by Alpina. Fabulous. Fierce. Want them.
I have to thank Natasa and Jack from Jack’s Eyewear in Los Angeles, Lady Gaga’s favourite vintage glasses shop. I contacted them asking for a help and they kindly whispered the names of the two most wanted sunglasses Lady Gaga has ever worn right to my ears. Thank you guys, without you I’d probably spend another week or two researching!
Didn’t find these anywhere either. But now you know the brand and the style name so you can start your own research. Let me know if you found any and don’t forget to send me a picture if you make them yours.
And here are The Most Wanted.
The sunglasses just about everybody wanted me to ID.
The sunnies just about everybody wants to have.
Now if these awes were mine, I would even sleep in them.
Aaand the winner is…
Designed by Oliver Goldsmith in the 60′s!
Real vintage treasure. If you find them in some vintage shop, you can open a bottle of champaign right away and start calling you Mr. or Lady Lucky (if so, I want a picture of you with the glasses on and with that bottle included!).
The Y-Not shades were produced in black, dark shell, light shell, white, buffalo horn, pine wod and briar wood.
But I do have some good news for you. Even though Y-Nots are from the archive, they can still be made to order from the Oliver Goldsmith studio in London. I have the contact number if you want. Just drop me a line. They would cost about £380. You’re welcome!
