Alejandro Fashion, part 7: Singin’ love and pain

While singing about her love and pain, Gaga wore…

… her favourite Hussein Chalayan “Perfecto” jacket, black “Night Makers” by Noritaka Tatehana, lace panties from Rigby & Peller upcoming Fall 2010 luxurious lingerie collection, …

… and vintage Gianni Versace shades mod. 789 created about 20 years ago.

Like many times before when it came to vintage sunglasses treasures, these beauties are also from Jack’s Eyewear store in LA.

Lady Gaga in Alexis Bittar

Lady Gaga made a surprise visit to New York’s Museum of Modern Art to see Marina Abramović ”The Artist Is Present” installation. Marina’s popular collaborative performance is a “marathon” work (March 14 – May 31, 2010) and involves the artist sitting in silence, face to face with one person at a time, for as long as the museum-goer wants.

If I lived in (or traveled to) New York, I wouldn’t miss the opportunity of slowing down and exchaging some energy (and most probably some tears too, I know myself…) with Marina.

Thanks to Joe Holmes for being there and taking below photos for all of us.

Gaga completed her Hussein Chalayan leather jacket and Noritaka Tatehana “Night Makers” combo with an awesome custom created face jewel.

What may look like leather, in fact is black lucite.

The one of a kind eye mask with gold spikes was meticulously hand carved and hand painted for Gaga by jewelry designer Alexis Bittar.

As always, I’ve got some really amazing bonus for you.

A little preview of Alexis’ Fall 2010 collection full of fascinating quirky and highly glamorous statement pieces.

Genie, could I have the ring bracelet pretty please? I’ve been a good girl, a very very good good girl, honey…

Lady Gaga wearing Hussein Chalayan Moto Jacket

Europe, US, New Zealand, Australia… Gaga, honey, when you wake up in the morning, do you know where you are and what day is it? I think I wouldn’t…

Gaga in Auckland and Sydney wearing…

… what I believe is one of the leather jackets KTZ proposes for the upcoming AW 2010 season.

Marjan Pejoski and Sasko Bezovski from Kokon to Zai have created another awesome collection a close-up of which I’m going to share with you later this week. You’ll love it!

UPDATE
I said I believed it was KTZ but I was wrong… sooo sorry!

The jacket our girl wore was designed by Hussein Chalayan.

Big thanks to @Alexzandra_H for the photo!

FASHION exclusive “Gaga’s 88 magic keys” exhibition

Remember Paul McCartney’s and Stevie Wonder’s “Ebony and ivory live together in perfect harmony, side by side on my piano keyboard, oh Lord, why don’t we?”.

I hear it in my head every single time I see a piano. And have to tell you I’m impressed everytime I see one.

I have one at my parents house. Learn it for seven years but unfortunatelly have never felt a real connection. But what I always feel when I touch one is energy. Energy that comes out of the instrument and its (usually) 88 keys. Energy you can feel and be impressed by like myself. Energy you can turn into magic if you and your piano keys “connect”.

I visited a friend today and felt inspired by her daughter who played piano for me. I thought about my blog and you. Just about everytime Gaga is in town, there is an amazing one-of-a-kind piano “connected” to her, so I thought it would be interesting (to say the least) having all these one off pianos at one place. Sort of a private exhibition. So I put it together (hope I didn’t forget any). Just for you. Hope you’ll enjoy.

Welcome to “Gaga’s 88 magic keys” exhibition you can visit only here, on FASHION.

There are no “don’t touch” signs.

Touch.

And feel the magic.

Magic no.1: Bubble Installation

Inspired in Hussein Chalayan Spring 2007 Bubble dress.

Magic no.2: MOCA “Speechless” piano

Steinway Grand Piano customized by Damien Hirst for MOCA one-night-only production.

Magic no.3: Bathtub piano

Both her giant Bathtub piano and matching toilet piano chair were produced specially for her X Factor performance.

Magic no.4: Royal Variety Floating piano

Another unique piece, many people called Dalí piano, Gaga played suspended in the air.

Magic no.5: Grammy Awards double sided Little Monsters Hands piano

As tweeted by Gaga herself, it was “piano designed my the famous and dear friend Terence Koh, inspired by and in honor of my little monsters, and their sweet little hands”.

Magic no.6: 88 pearls piano

Both the piano and Gaga’s outfit are again Terence Koh‘s works of art.

Magic no.7: Monster piano

The monster piano Gaga played and set in fire at American Mucis Awards and…

… the one she works her magic on at the Monster Ball Tour stage look similar. Or is it the same one?

Magic no.8: Gaga Rolls Royce piano

So far the last one. Car piano. A piece even the MTV Pimp My Ride team would be proud of, what do you think? ;)

Nice collection, ha?

And this is just the beginning. I believe the next 88 magic keys are being customized as we speak. Can’t wait.

Which one was your favourite so far?
